Arkansas Grand Prix VI

In 1987 the Grand Prix reached series number VI. Jack Defreitas won his second overall title in 3 years. Ann Smith swept the overall and masters categories in the female competition, marking the first time anyone had ever won both in the same year. The Grand Prix consisted of the same four races:

The 8K River Run
The Twin Cities Bank 5K
The Arkansas 20K
The Spa 10K

1987 marked the final time for this race line-up as the Glenwood 15K would debut as a Series race in 1988. Only season totals for the overall and age group Grand Prix Scoreboards have been recovered. If anyone has expanded scoreboard data for each race, please email us.
