Course Description

The race starts and ends at the coliseum on the campus of Arkansas Tech University. The two lap route mostly follows the perimeter of the university campus entirely on paved streets. It is a flat course which oftens yields PR times due to the typically cool weather.

Remember -- it's two laps!

Sweetheart Competition

A special feature of the Valentine's Day 5K is the chance to team up with a sweetheart for additional prizes! Runners have the option of entering with their spouse in the Married Sweethearts Division, or teaming up with a "friend" in the Unmarried Sweethearts Division. The finishing times for the two Sweethearts will be added together to compete against other couples' composite times. The Sweetheart competition is in additional to the male/female individual races and does not affect an individual's time, placing, or award in the overall race.
