Congratulations on FINALLY! (and yes I do mean FINALLY!) qualifying for Boston at the Crazy Jimmy's Tupelo Marathon this weekend!

He did it with even 2 seconds to spare! Nothing like standing at the finish line daring the clock to tick one or two more times!

Steven finished in 3:10:57. Qualifying time for Steven's age group is 3:10:00 but Boston gives an additional 59 second cushion.

Here's to you, buddy! I tip my hat to you Dr. Polansky Hooray and what not! feverish Ohhhhh YEAH! We're Not Worthy

Wow! Maybe I need to get on the forum more often cause I just saw this. Thank you to everyone. It was a great feeling. I don't know why, but with 10K to go and not really thinking I was going fast enough for the last 20 miles I decided to kick it down to about 6:30 pace and go for it. I knew it would be close, realllll close but what the heck. It was scary coming around that corner into the parking lot and seeing the clock tick ever closer to 3:11. Somehow it happened and I am truly gracious to everyone who has supported me in completing this goal. I know I haven't had the best of marathons lately, but everyone was there for me and kept my spirits up. Thanks!!!
